Our society is operating its business whole over Goa.

Business of the Society:

1.  Purchase & Sale of Agricultural commodities (Raw Cashew Organic & General, Copra, Paddy, Coconuts, Attom Sola and other agricultural commodities)

2.  Accepting Deposit & Loan and Advances under various schemes.

3.  . Society has undertaken Organic Cashew Project in 1996 with collaboration with Achal Industries, Mangalore.

4.  Successfully running five krishi-Ghars in main cities of Goa.

5.  Dealership of Fertilizers and Plastics & Agro implements.

6.  Accepting Electricity bills and water bills.

7.  Agency of Micro Insurance Policies from LIC of India.

8.  Adarsh Co-operative Services were Society provide all services under one roof.

9.  AdarshCo-operative Coaching Classes.

10.  Dealership of Fertilizers and Plastics & Agro implements.

11.  Smart Shop (Recharge of mobiles, Dish TV, transport etc.)

12.  Agency of IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance

13.  Adarsh Personality Development Training Centre

Membership / Shareholder as on date :

-  - As on date society having Agricultural Shareholders20492 numbers of which 85% and above belongs to Schedule Tribes community.

-  - The total members/stakeholders’ of society as on date approxt. 27800 Out of 20492 are agricultures members.

Cashew Organic Farming:

The society having 3215 certified organic cashew growing members, with highest land cultivation in the world in 93 Villages in South Goa Quepem , Sanguem, Canacona and DharbandoraTalukas .
Farmers land that covered under Organic farming are 7184 (HA),. The Organic Cashew Project certification agency is called IMO Control Pvt. Limited, Bangalore, head office of organization is at Switzerland.
The organic members are getting more price for their products above then market price and support price declared by Government.

Flo-International:

Flo International is the only one certifying agency in world, FLO-CERT Gmbh, Bonner Talweg, 177, D-53129 Bonn, Federal Republic of Germany. It gives permission for Flo-Certification. The basic idea of Flo-Cert is to give maximum support price to Famers - Fair-trade price or market price whichever is higher. Extra premium to farmers: this concept originated in Netherland in 1950. At present there are more than 165 countries who are the member of Flo-International and India is of one of them. We are happy that we the Adarsh Society are also the part of it doing certification under Flo- International.

Support Price and Subsidies :

A society purchases agricultural goods as priced fixed by Government of Goa and give all support prices and subsides as mentioned by State and Central Government to the members of the society.
